A Federal Lawyer’s Guide to Practice in Orleans Civil District Court

The Younger Lawyers Division welcomes Jennifer Lampton, long-time clerk to the Honorable Nakisha Ervin-Knott, for a discussion focused on the ins-and-outs of State Court practice in Orleans Parish.  A must for young lawyers who have mastered federal court procedures, but lack confidence in their ability to navigate the procedural mechanisms and practices unique to Orleans CDC.  The first drink is on us!

Cocktails and Career Conversations is a new program from the YLD targeting younger attorneys to learn about various aspects of practice from more experienced practitioners in a relaxed setting designed to foster open dialogue and informal mentorship opportunities.
