The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana’s district court and magistrate judges completed an anonymous survey on various issues of legal writing, including most persuasive writing styles, pet peeves, and the like. Local practitioners have compiled the judges’ responses and other feedback and will present an empirical analysis of the results, as well share the judges’ dos, don’ts, and other tips.
