Things I Wish I had Known: Tips for First Generation Lawyers

The New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and Tulane University Law School will co-host a CLE on inclusion focused on first generation lawyers on April 18, 2023, at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. The Honorable Dana Douglas, U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge, will moderate a panel of first generation lawyers discussing relevant issues faced by practitioners with insight learned through their own experiences as a first generation lawyer. This event is geared to law school students and younger practitioners but is open to everyone. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions. A light lunch will be provided. This event is free for law school students and New Orleans FBA members, but registration is required.
