Cocktails & Career Conversations

Thursday May 30, 2024. 6-7PM EST

The Younger Lawyers Division invites you to join us in another fun installment of our Cocktails and Career Conversations series aimed at discussing the vast landscape of alternative practices to traditional civil litigation, including but not limited to public interest, career clerkships, and academia. Assistant U.S. Attorney Ed Rivera, Professor William Snowden of the Juror Project, EDLA Career Clerk Brittany Flanders, and Ashley Barriere of Keller Postman will lead small group discussions on the significance of these practices to our profession, navigating shifting career paths, addressing false assumptions, and what the future of our legal practice looks like beyond litigation. There is no cost to attend for either FBA members or guests. To allow for meaningful conversations, seating is limited for this event, and advance registration is requested.
